Wear a hat to school day – Children’s Cancer North
Today, children and staff were invited to wear hat and caps to school for a suggested donation of £1, to go to Children’s Cancer North, which is an independent charity supporting children with cancer and their families.
As well as this invaluable support to the children and families, the charity’s other main objectives are to invest in research and raise awareness of children’s cancer.
Thanks to your amazing support and generosity, we have so far raised today, nearly £240! Thank you all so much.
The ‘hat and cap’ event was decided upon by our panel of School Councillors, along with Mrs Kilpatrick, our Inclusion Officer, who chairs their meetings.
