Euro 2021 at Firthmoor Primary – “It’s Coming Home!”

Today at Firthmoor Primary, we celebrated England’s victory over Denmark in the Euro 2021 semi-final on Wednesday, which saw them secure a place in the final at Wembley this Sunday against Italy.

Throughout the day, great fun has been had by children and staff alike, with nearly everyone wearing either a football themed shirt, or red/white t-shirt, and most donating £1 towards a children’s charity (amount to be informed and charity decided soon). Not to mention the bunting and flags decorating various areas around the school. The atmosphere has been one of excitement and anticipation.

The children (and some staff) enjoyed a ‘Euro’ picnic on the field at lunchtime – thankfully the weather was kind to us and, although it was overcast, it stayed dry.

Please enjoy the photos of our ‘Euro 2021 Day’ below. There will be more added, so please be sure to check back soon.

Good Luck for Sunday Team England, we’re all rooting for you! Bring it home!
