Ballet Lorent

As Y5 pupils, Rachael and Kaisha took part in the Ballet Lorent performance at the Hippodrome Theatre (Darlington). They found it a wonderful experience and both said it was a lot of fun to do.

Kaisha quoted, “Acting is my thing and I’m like a miniature actress! I think I will have less stage fright next time I’m on stage because we were taught not to look at the audience at all…and I never!”

Rachael agreed with Kaisha and also said she was thrilled to be part of the experience.

Ruby and Hallie-Rose really enjoyed performing alongside Ballet Lorent at the Darlington Hippodrome whilst they were in Year 4.

Ruby: – “I really enjoyed it, especially the actual show. My favourite part was getting to rip up books. It was good to work with the dancers and I would like do something similar in the future.”

Hallie-Rose – “It was really good!. I did find it hard performing and not looking at the people in the audience. My favourite part was being on stage and I would like to do it again when I’m older.”

Lucas and Layla were also very pleased to receive their certificates recognising their work with Ballet Lorent
