As part of our Geography topic some of the children in Year 3 went to help on a litter pick in the local area. It was led by Darlington Borough Council Housing and they joined Housing Officers Rachel and Holly along with Engagement Officer Matt to clear the park.
The children found takeaway boxes, drinks cans, sweet wrappers and crisp packets. They very quickly and efficiently made the area tidy again!
