Durham Police and Crime Commissioner’s Challenge
Year 5 were recently visited by PCSO Emily Snowball who introduced the children to the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner’s Challenge. The aim of the challenge is to allow young people and schools to give a little extra to help the local area become even more safer, stronger and more resilient to crime and anti-social behaviour.
The children have to complete a series of challenges at home in order to receive their bronze, silver and gold awards. The bronze challenges include keeping family, friends and neighbours safe. The silver challenges focus on keeping the streets safe and the gold challenges focus on keeping ourselves safe.
Although the children have three months to complete their challenges, many of them have already completed their bronze challenges. A super effort, Year 5!
