Y4MT visit to Grinton Moor
Our class went on an AMAZING visit to Grinton Moor as part of our Science work on habitats and living things. We explored the moor landscape and found out about how the landscape is managed to help rare animals breed and survive. We also learnt about the jobs people who live on and near the moor have eg bee keeping, gundog trainer, game manager. Children also had the opportunity to taste pheasant, wood pigeon, grouse and venison, which was cooked on site for us.
