Donations to charity

With the help of your kindness and generosity, we have been able to continue with our charitable work in school, raising money in various ways to help support those less fortunate than us.

Recently, we have donated £259.37 to Children in Need, which was raised by your contributions towards a ‘wear your own clothes’ day in school.

Our Year 2 children raised £59.85 in 1p and 2p coins which, between them, they decided to donate half to Dogs Trust and half to the NHS.

This Christmas, Firthmoor staff and visitors made donations to St Teresa’s Hospice by taking part in their ‘cash in lieu of cards’ Christmas appeal….making a donation instead of sending Christmas cards to colleagues. This raised a total of £47.35.

We also donated to the Poppy Appeal again back in November. We are waiting to hear what we raised.

Thank you to everyone for contributing to our collections throughout the year.
